Hot Chocolate & A Memory

Slow down a little and enjoy a favorite holiday memory while you sip on a delicious mug of hot cocoa.
  • Combine 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/3 cup of water, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil. Make sure you are stirring to get all the lumps out
  • Add 4 cups of milk (or milk alternative) and continue to stir over medium heat. Don’t allow to boil.
  • Once your liquid is at your desired drinking temperature, remove from the heat, stir in the vanilla, pour it into your favorite mug and enjoy.
Now add some fun toppings! Make your own Hot Cocoa bar with these addons;
  • Whipped cream
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate flakes or chips
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Cinnamon
